International day of midwife

Everyone giving birth should have options and information, that are based on facts and not fear.

Everyone giving birth deserves support, respect and empathy.

Everyone giving birth deserves to be given a choice and a voice that is heard.

Every baby being born should be seen as an individual human being.

Every baby being born deserves to be heartly welcomed.

Every baby being born deserves to be gently and respectfully touched.

All doulas, midwives and doctors should have the full support of our system and not the pressure, that is dictated by our laws and economic system.

Everyone supporting labouring women, deserve to be allowed to use their education knowledge and intuition.

Everyone supporting labouring women, deserve to be allowed to find the very best way for their clients, based on facts, good communication and the personal needs of all involved.

Imagine the energy we would create, if all of us, who are part of a birth team, would work together -hand in hand to find the very best way for each birthing person, each baby and each family.

If we want to change the world, we need to change the first imprint we have in a childs life.

Let’s work together.

Let’s change our birthing system for a better tomorrow.

Be informed, be prepared and please sign:
